So I’ve been losing my mind since I got the Apple TV 4K on launch day. All of a sudden I lost functionality with HDMI-CEC aka Anynet+.
Long story short, I was able to fix it after discharging my TV for about 30 minutes.
By discharging I mean unplugging power from the back of the TV and leaving it alone.
Once I plugged it back in, the Apple TV was able to enable system control and I can now turn my TV on/off with my Siri remote.
Also seemed to help with auto detecting the 4K signal (4K SDR, 60Hz) where before I was manually setting it up each time I powered on the ATV.
Hope this helps someone.
