ATV 4K video turning off and on

Not sure if my ATV 4K did an update while I was out, when I turn it on the dashboard shows up, but then the picture goes black for seven seconds, comes back on for seven seconds then off for seven and repeats this loop. I have reset it and it is still doing the same thing.

My non 4k apple 4 tv started doing the same thing today. Please post if you find a solution. I've reset the settings on mine and it doesn't seem to help.
