Hey all,

Ever since upgrading to tvOS 13, my Apple TV 4k has been going to sleep while listening to music through apps like Pandora and Sirius. Never used to happen. Prior to the upgrade, I could start one of those up and leave it. The screensaver would (and still does) kick in, and that used to be it. I have my sleep set for 15 minutes, and at that point while listening to music, it just shuts itself and the TV off now.

I haven't come across any settings to change this behavior, or acknowledgement that it's a known issue. I turn on music (usually with Pandora) pretty much every night when it's time for the kids to get ready for bed, etc. Really hoping there's a fix for this that doesn't involve setting my sleep timer to a long time.

Applies for Spotify via Airplay as well, a bit annoying. My workaround was to change auto auto shut down to four hours.

I started a thread about this a few days ago but got no replies. It’s happening to me with Pandora.

Same here and it's really annoying.
Figure it out Apple. This is probably the buggiest release of software this year.

Just installed tvos 13.2 and the problem still persists so I guess apple doesn’t consider this as an issue and the ball is entirely in pandoras court which sucks since they haven’t done a thing for a good month already

That sucks to hear. I’m updating 13.2 now and this is my biggest gripe with the tvOS 13.
