ATV is sending music in multi channel instead of stereo

Anyone come across this ? Only happening after a did a factory reset and restore of the OS

I have the audio set to Auto in settings and music is being sent in multi channel format to my Marantz receiver

If I set it to auto, I get PCM multi channel in movies from my drive, but also started getting it in music.

If I set it to change format to DD 5.1 I get stereo only across the board.

Rebooted and now back to normal, music in stereo, movies in multi channel PCM.

Not sure what it was doing.
