All of a sudden my ATV has stopped playing any of my movies. It starts out like it is buffering them and then just a blank screen.
I am running my ATV on a wired network to a windows XP unit with a dedicated HD just for movies. They show in Itunes fine.
I had not updated to the latest software and was running 2.3, went out of town and came back, system showed 2.3.1. and movies would not play. I upgraded again and same action. I reset to factory settings and still get the same except now they are not showing up in shared movies but my movies, but still will not play.
I have checked network connections and everything works fine. Any ideas short of me just being an idiot and doing something wrong.
