I have joined the cord cutters and terminated my TV service due to huge price increases. I have a mix of Gen 3/4/4K ATV's and have always been happy with video and sound quality. My interenet speeds are solid with low 3-5 ms ping rates and 70-100 Mbs speeds.
I have recently tried YouTube TV (short trial) and found the sound quality abysmal, low/high levels of sound, low quality 2.0 feed that many times sounded like a mono feed.
I am currently using DirectTV Now and find the sound quality marginal at best, same issues as YouTube TV.
I dont have issues with native apple movie and TV, Vudu app or Netflix, so my question is, are there any TV streaming apps that have decent sound quality? None talk about it (Sling, PSVue, etc.) on their websites. They never mention anything but full HD, which I would contend should require at least a DD 5.1 sound stream but apparently does not.
