ATV stuck in a loop

I was backing out of Netflix to the main menu on my Apple TV and it started flashing. Now its stuck in a flashing loop. Maybe a handshake issue? I have pulled the plug and waited a few minutes, swapped HDMI cable, HDMI on my TV. I don't know what to do. It flashes just long enough to move the cursor on the menu. I don't want to do a full restore if I don't have to. Anybody else ever had this happen?

I’ve had this happen and the only way I could solve it was a full restore. Wish I could have better news for you.

Unfortunately, you can only do a reset from settings menu. The 4k version has no USB port with which to perform a restore using iTunes/finder.

The only fix may be to visit an Apple store or send it in for service.
