Just a quick question… if I have connected to several wifi networks in the past on my iPhone, then set up an Apple TV with my iPhone, will the ATV store all my previously used wifi networks or only the one my iPhone was connected to during set up?

thanks

The Apple TV should know all the ones your phone has connected to. I set one up for my son and when he took it to his moms it connected to the WiFi there automatically without him having to connect it in the Apple TV settings.

If you use you're iphone to do initial setup on the ATV then it will use the currently connected wifi info only.

That’s not how it worked for me. See my previous post. The Apple TV automatically connected to another WiFi when taken to another location.

If the iPhone and ATV are both logged in to the same Apple ID/iCloud Account; and if Keychain is active on that Account, then that info would be available to any device logged in to that account. That’s one possible explanation for the ATV logging into a new (to it) location.

Yep exactly.
