My beloved ATV1 has started this week to not start with the remote, and on a couple of occasions iTunes will only pick it up as a device if it's switched on... But that may be a different issue. The only way to start ATV is to unplug and plug it in again. Once it's gone through its start up sequence and running the remote is fine, going through the menus etc, and will turn it off and back on again, but come to it the next day and it's an unplug it job again
Any thoughts Apple guru's and a fix would be greatly appreciated, but I'm a bit of a techy turnip so please keep it simple
