I cut the cord with Comcast today. I used it to stream music. When I try streaming Spotify through AirPlay to Apple TV, it inevitably goes to sleep at some point. I thought Apple Radio would solve this but it is not part of ATV3. What is a reliable music that will not turn itself off? I tend to mostly listen to Electronic Dance Music. Currently listening to a station on the Radio Channel which seems stable but curious what others do.

I can't speak to the Spotify problem, but iTunes Radio is still on the ATV3 and works fine for me. I see there are choices for both Electronic and Dance music (but not "Electronic Dance Music" so your mileage may vary). Does this work for you?

The first time I tried it I thought it came with commercials for iTunes since the purpose of it is to sell downloads for it.

I think you are correct. I have iTunes Match, so I don't hear the commercials. It's just a lot of radio stations to me.

ps. Traditionally, the purpose of most radio stations is to sell music. :)
