ATV3 Remote app with no physical remote

DOH - I accidentally signed out of Home Sharing on my ATV3 so my remote ios app doesn't work. We lost the physical one a long time ago... any way to get the app working again without having to purchase replacement physical remote?

if you have a "smart" remote a lot of times they will have the apple codes in them.
you just need to find the right code.

I saw an apple remote on Groupon for 12.99

You can pick one up at Best Buy for $20

The old white plastic apple remote also works with ATV3. I have one that came with a previous Mac. I see these on amazon for $10
