I have an ATV4 connected via HDMI to a Samsung TV which is connected via an optical cable to a Samsung Sound Bar. (I could never get ARC to work with this TV/Sound Bar.)
I just recently started using Apple Music on the ATV and have noticed an annoying variability to the sound level. Sometimes a song volume is so low you can barely hear it and other times it is so loud that you need to adjust the volume. The volume can change several times during a single song.
No other ATV app demonstrates this variability. Plex, YouTube, Netflix, CBSN, Apple TV+ and every other app all play sound at consistent levels. It is only the Music app that is so variable. I have tried toggling the various audio options, including Reduce Loud Sounds, but nothing helps.
What am I missing here?
