ATV4 turns itself off for no reason

I have the ATV4 set to never sleep due to the fact that I need it to stay on for HomeKit reasons. However I noticed that turning the tv off put the ATV to sleep too. So I turned off the HDMI control.

However I'm still finding that the ATV will often be off for no apparent reason and I can't find anything else that could be causing it.

Any ideas or is it a bug?

How frustrating

I set mine to not auto-sleep, and it doesn't. I didn't have to durn of HDMI control though, and my ATV4 stays on when the TV is turned off. Sounds like yours might be in need of repair or replacement

home kit still works with it asleep

do you honestly think they would make a feature that lets you access something from outside your home, but then automatically goes to sleep and stops working when you leave home?
