AU refurb MBP 40% retail!

Unfortunately I need to wait for insurance money, but the australian apple store has early 2008 2.4 MBP refurbs for AU$2000. Fair price right? When you consider a new 2.4MBP costs AU$3200 that's a freaking 40% discount!

never mind it's only 23% off the original price. i think they'll be going like hot cakes and I wish I could get one now to replace my lost one... c'est la vie

Yeah, the Canadian store has had last-gen MBPs for 20-40% off, too. That's $1000 on the former top-end 15.4" model. Suffice to say, I am very, very tempted to replace my first-gen Blackbook... but I have zero need for a new computer. :/
