Audi AMI connectivity

Heya guys,
Got a question, i've noticed that since with the IOS 8 , i got on my Audi the music interface that lets me plug in my ipod/iphone, and got the proprietary Audi lightning cable, when i plug it in my iPhone 5, it switches from charging to not charging like 20 times in a second, and it doesn't have the time to recognise my phone... I found the same behaviour when i used an iPhone 4s with a 3rd party usb cable on my mac.
When i had IOS 7 it worked like a charm...

Are there any fixes to that?

What year and model? Working fine on my 2014 S5.

Audi A6 2011 and iPhone 6/5s here and also no problems with the Apple Music app.

Only problem I have is that music/playlists from Spotify can't be selected through the AMI/MMI.
