Are you able to keep your Watch and iPhone app in sync as far as last listened to location?

So far the Watch and iPhone book position do not stay in sync for me.

My biggest issue currently is the watch forgets where it was when I last hit pause and it restarts to the beginning of the book. Currently make notes in Drafts to remember where I am.
