Resolved Audio airplay issue 2013 MBA Mavericks?

I can airplay Audio from iTunes to my apple TV or My Pioneer A1 but when i try to airplay audio system wide (like for Spotify) using option click on the sound button, the ATV and A1 show up but when i try to click them it goes right back to Internal speakers.

Is there a bug or what am i doing wrong?

I have the exact same issue

I'm experiencing the same issue with a MBA 2013 and rMBP 2013. One thing I noticed is that only one is able to connect System-Wide at given time, but if I use iTunes Airplay both connect just fine. I haven't been able to figure out what prevents one from connecting but not the other, and at some point the the issue switches to the other laptop and the one that wasn't working begins to work. My money is on this being a bug in Mavericks.
