Hi all,

I'm looking for an app that can do the following task;

Select specific audio to output specific app's sound.
example;
select vlc audio to output to output device 'internal speaker' and select quicktime audio to output to output device 'hd tv'.

I know how to setup audio devices to make use of all speaker but there's not way I can individually specify which audio goes to which app.

another simple example, my son is watching vlc on the big hd tv while I want to listen to some music from my computer. I can't find a way to split it.

Is there any way or an app that is able to do that?.

Does Loopback https://rogueamoeba.com/loopback/
or Audio Hijack https://rogueamoeba.com/audiohijack/ do what you want?

Thank you all,

the method BrianBaughn proposed does the work.
At least now I can have vlc audio select to output to the hd tv while my computer output the iTunes.
