Hi everyone, I am running macOS 15.2.

Can anyone recommend an audio application that can break a single .mp4 audio track into separate tracks? I used to use Audacity, but the site doesn't list if it still works with 15.2.

My goal is to take this single file and make an album with separate tracks to be added to Apple Music.

**updated - I believe audacity still works - but does require additional ffmpeg install.

Hoping for possibly a better solution.

thanks

I don't know of an app that will do that automatically. Audacity has instructions for marking the individual song beginnings as well as naming each track.

I have used audacity before - didn't want to have to install ffmpeg, etc too...but if there is no alternative - I guess there really isn't any harm in that.
