Audio batch converter needed

Im trying to convert large amounts of shn and flac files at the same time. After conversion, I would like them to stay in the same source file and delete the original file simultaneously, just like xAct does. xAct has been quite buggy for me. Is there something similar to xAct yet more powerful to handle large amounts of files?

Though old, try Max. Google it as Max OS X, audio etc. Works excellent!

Thanks so much. I tried Max and I like the speed and the overall software; however , it's not allowing me to convert shn in batch to mp3. What can I do for this?
