When I sync my iphone, any audiobook I am currently listening to goes back to the beginning; the place is not saved.

This has only been happening for the last couple of weeks. I cannot find a setting that will keep my place saved. Anyone know a setting that I might be overlooking?

Thanks.

I had this when I used a non-syncing machine to charge my iPhone - it reset all the play counts, even though I told it not to sync. So maybe you're plugging it into someone else's machine to charge, and that's it?

Otherwise, do a 'Get-Info' on the audiobook and ensure that under 'Options' there is a tick next to 'Remember PlayBack Position'. If it's greyed out, then it means it is controlled by the file type, and will be ON really (even though it looks off).

Hope this helps...

I am syncing it on my machine and I have the box checked to remember playback position.

That is why I am at a loss here.
