Hey everyone, I'm new here.
I'm a graphic artist, but like to burn audio CDs once and a while.
I've been a LONG time Mac user. I've been faithfully using my G3 and using Toast 4 to burn CDs since the late 90s : )
I finally upgraded to a Mac Pro, just got her yesterday!
Anyway, I was excited to see I had a DVD burner, but wanted to try an audio CD first. I've been through a dozen CDs already and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
I followed the vague directions in the help menu about using disc utility to make an image, then burn the image. I've gotten a few CDs that work in my Mac G3, but wont work in my truck cd player or any of my home cd or dvd/cd players. They end up as one track, and silent. But when I put the cd in my G3 I open the disc and I can see and play all the aiff files, I'm confused as to why it shows up as one lone silent track on everything else.
What am I doing wrong??????

PLEASE help, I love music and I love my new Mac, I just want to get this worked out! I'm so frustrated. It's always been so easy, drag the aiff files into Toast and burn.

Oh, if I have to go buy software I would like to get something that can also copy DVDs.

Any help is greatly appreciated....
