Ok so it's not entirely a mac related question but I'm going to shoot in here as it seems the closest place I can find to ask.

I've got an Xbox 360 (which puts out to dual phono plugs)

I've got an adapter which changes these two phono plugs to a standard 3.5mm Male Stereo jack.

I have a set of 2.1 speakers that plug into a PC/Mac using a standard 3.5mm male stereo jack.

So here's the question - is there an adapter that will allow me to connect the 3.5mm jack on the speakers to either the dual phono plugs direct from the 360, or the 3.5mm male jack on the adapter.

My thoughts on what I need are either
a) a 3.5mm connector to connect two male connections together.
or
b) a new adapter that converts 2 male phono connections to a 3.5mm stereo output.
or
c) a set of speakers that takes 2 phono connections for input

I've had trouble finding a or b (at least in the UK)

And if it needs to be C, I'd appreciate any recommendations for a cheapish (sub £50) set available to the UK.

Any help's much appreciated.
