Is anyone else having a problem of not having audio control anymore? My Macbook Pro has the audio locked to max, and when I try to adjust it, the speaker pops up with the circle with the cross through it.

I haven't been able to find any reason for this. Any one else?

Same

Seems I had the same issue
No sound and no response from audio control keys
just the speaker logo greyed out or with the cross through

I reset the PRAM
(hold option, command, P and R on startup and wait for the unit to restart a second time)

This seems to have fixed it

I am having this problem as well. I've had it since the GM version and trying to reset the PRAM does not solve the problem for me

Here is the same thing.

It's some king fo a Lion bug.
It happened also on the Developer's versions.

If you have a earphone or mic, just plug and unplug a couple of times. The sound control unlocks.
Unfortunately the sound locks again after a reboot.

I'm assuming its a bug they can fix but probably don't know about yet. Hopefully they can release a patch soon!
