audio converter for RAM audio files

Hi, I need to convert some RAM audio files to upload to my ipod touch.
I tried some tip about using ffmped and realplayer but it didn't work .. coz mostly i didn't understand it right .. i am still a beginner you see..
so i just need some program to use to convert those files till i advance with my OS X
