Audio delay when playing through Airplay with Airport Express

So I'm playing a YT video of a live recording of an orchestra and there is a clear audio delay of about 2 seconds. I'm playing the audio from my Mac via Airplay to an Airport Express which is connected to my AV receiver. If I just play the video and listen via the internal speakers or even headphones there's no delay at all. Is there a way to remedy this?
