Having a strange issue with my 16" Max. Using Apple Music, the sound is perfect out of the headphone out but through an external DAC and thunderbolt hub (USB AUDIO DAC, USB AUDIO Codec) they both have high levels of distortion. I'm using a Simaudio Moon DAC and a Plugable Thunderbolt 3 hub. I've tried simple things like shutting down and restarting as well as unchecking lossless audio in Apple Music but nothing has worked so far. I tried both on a 2020 MacBook running Monterey as well and it was fine. Anyone else having an issue?

Nevermind. Just upgraded to 12.1 and now everything is working properly.
