So I was able to finally install Windows 8.1 on my iMac and got the AMD drivers to properly run, however, I'm not getting any sound when I'm playing games or watching a video. I tried setting the default audio device to other options but they don't work. Does this require a separate driver in order to work?

My understanding was Bootcamp provided all necessary drivers. You might want to try the driver installation again.

Did you run the bootcamp setup from the boot drive after installing Windows? It installs all the drivers automatically. Locate it on the same boot drive you used to install Windows and just go through it.
