Audio editing program like Sony Sound Forge for Apple?

Hi all,

Well I use Sony Sound Forge on Windows..but is there a program just like for Mac that you guys would recommend? If you have ever used Sony Sound Forge, would do you think on the Mac platform is the closest program to it?

Apple's audio software is Logic Studio and the "cut down" Logic Express.
Sorry haven't used either, check out the Apple store for specs ..
