Audio/EQ app for iPhone & Touch?

Is there an app out there that will improve the sound quality of the iPhone & Touch when used in iPod mode? I am seeking something like the SR iWoW plug-in for iTunes.

The SDK doesn't allow developers to do anything whatsoever regarding iPod music. The most they can do is allow an already-playing song to play in the background while their app plays sound effects over it, or stop the playing song.
