Hello guys,

I want to be able to listen the audio from the dvd "Gilmour in Concert" in car and in my iPod. According to the box, the audio is LPCM 24 bit. I suscefully ripped the pcm files with Mac the Ripper, but now I can't convert those files into anything useful. I downloaded AIFF from PCM, as recommended in some forums, but the software seems very unstable under leopard. I have only managed to convert one files, using the 24 bit, stereo, "swap bytes" settings. The rest of the time, the software just hangs after selecting the file to convert.

I tried using audacity, but using the raw audio import thingy, gets me a channel of audio, but the other just contains noise.

What do you guys recommend? changing the settings in audacity? use another program? rip again and use a different method? get a windows machine (please don't say this!!)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This was the first of some dvd concerts that I wanted to get the audio from.
