I use a variety of apps for practicing music related stuff and not all of them have audio that are making it to my HomePod. Specifically two metronome apps (pro metronome and TE Tuner) have audio that is not making to the HomePod. When the metronome is on and clicking, it clicks fine on the phone but when I use airplay to control the audio, AP doesn't seem to recognize that there is audio from the metronome going on. Any tips to address this?

Im also getting some weird intermittent audio from this thing, that sounds like a "breaking news" type sound from CNN or something...no idea where that's coming from.

for the "missing audio"
app designers have the option to not allow airplay. Talk to the people who made the app.

There is an option for "sound for siri" in the home app.
maybe it has something to do with that.

Or you've left airplay connected to the HomePod, but you stopped playing, and it's a notification noise that's getting forwarded.
