Hey guys, I just have a quick question. I bought a macbook pro 15 inch. I also have a Razer Carcharias headset, this headset has both microphone and headphones. Is there any way for me to use the microphone on this headset? I only see the audio jack but not the microphone jack. This might be a really stupid question, sorry if it is, I am fairly new to these macbooks. Thanks, have a nice day!

Plug the microphone plug into the input jack (jack closet to the SD card slot) and the headphone plug into the headphone jack (next to the input jack).

Go to the System Preferences in the Apple Menu :apple: and select audio and make sure you input and outputs are correct.

Huh? The mic and audio use the same 3.5mm headphone jack.

Slightly off topic, but I use my IPHONE headset for SKYPE etc on my MBP. I just plug the single connector into the headphone socket and both mic and headphones work.

Clearly not for HI FI but it works great for conferences etc.

Are you sure the computer's native microphone isn't picking up your sound?
