I fell asleep recording a song last night, my battery went dead and now my volume is all locked up. I am freaking out. I tried restarting my computer, restarting audio hijack and nothing. I have no clue what to do and I have NO AUDIO. I have system sounds just fine (ie: trash can sound fx) but that's it! please please please someone help me figure this out, I do not want to have to take this to the Apple Store.

I suspect the input/output sources in System Preferences need to be fixed. This is easily done - go into System Preferences then Sound. Select the correct sources for input and output.
