For some reason when I export a video and upload to youtube it gives me louder audio on one side. Can you guys give me some tips on how to fix this problem?

Which FCP version do you use, how many audio tracks does the sequence have and what export settings do you use in FCP or wherever you do the final transcoding?

I've had the same issue. I never worked out how to fix it, but exporting in ProRes did. Obviously that's not satisfactory, but I haven't ever found another solution. Also, uploading straight to YouTube from the 'Share' menu at the top works for me without that audio issue.

Also: Up to version 10.0.3, FCPX chose 5.1 surround sound as default when starting a new project. You should check if your project is stereo, and not surround, depending on what you are doing.

I've had some issues until I figured this out.
