Audio issues with MB/MBP

Hey guys,

About to pull the trigger on a MBP, and I am very concerned about the "popping/buzzing" audio difficulties some people have been having. I'd be interested how many of you have this problem.

I"ve got the same issue on mine...LED mbp (june 07)....dont know what to do....there is only 1 headset I have that filters this out does anyone know of a firmware update that might fix this?

The audio on the current MBP is appallingly bad. My iPod Shuffle sounds fine - but the MBP sounds far worse than I would expect from a $10 generic mp3 player.
