My audio jack is broken. What is the best way to get it fixed?

....the speakers still work though....
 
1st or 2nd generation?
if it's an ipad 1 there are a few sites that do repairs if you send it to them, usually at a lesser cost than apple (or you could do it yourself; google it)
if it's an ipad 2 i would take it in to the store and see what they can do for you, usually replace at a cost to you or if they take mercy they may replace it...i say may as it seems to be hit or miss and depends on the store.
you can also wait for the next gen and just replace it
last opinion is to use bluetooth headphones with it, i use a set of motorola's and they work very well, and no wires

If it's an iPad 2 then it's still under warranty and unless there's physical damage Apple will repair it.
