Guys i need help..

basically since a year ago there's a broken piece of headphone jack inside my macbook pro audio port. By this time the volume on my macbook doesnt work (blocked sign). I tried getting it out using the glue trick but it failed and possibly smeared all over the port.
Then my friend finally managed to taken out the broken piece, he said by pushing from the inside because he said that the end of the jack was already poking through and basically he just pushed it. After it got out, still no sound came out (same blocked volume sign) and also no sound when plugging new headphone.
oh also, theres no red light coming out from the audio port, and the only sound came out is when i boot up the laptop.
On system preference theres only one output option.
I hope i gave enough information.. please please help thanks..
