Ever since I upgraded to yosemite my audio will randomly crash. If I then try and watch a video it freezes after 11 seconds. Always exactly 11 seconds. If I try and click audio settings, it starts lagging.

The speakers are connected, internal speakers selected etc.

the only way to fix it, is it reset. It will then work from anywhere to 2 seconds to 20 hours. It's very unpredictable. I've done multiple pram and smc resets.

I eventually took it to the genius bar and the guy checked the diagnostics and said he could see the crashes in the log and said it must be software, he told me to do a clean reset and erase everything.

I did but the problem still persists, i'm at wit's end. I can't listen to music, study or watch movies..

Any advice?
