Hi,

When viewing videos, either streaming online (Chrome) or downloaded, on Quicktime or any other media player I use, the same problem arises: a lag of about half a second in the sound.

If I reboot the system, it seems to be in synch at first, but eventually the lag will show up. When playing audio only, the lag manifests as a pause between when you hit play and when you hear the sound.

Searching forums I see a lot of people are having this issue when using Bluetooth devices, but I don't use Bluetooth and have it switched off in Preferences.

Thanks for your help.

The Bluetooth lag is an issue that occurs if you're playing sound through a Bluetooth device, like Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth speakers. Having Bluetooth enabled won't cause any audio lag.

Regarding your issue, are you using any audio enhancers, like Boom?
