I was not sure if this should be posted in the Mac OS X or Mac Mini section. I figured my issues was a OS X issue and not specific to the Mac Mini...

I just setup my Mac Mini to stream all of my digital music to my HT setup.

I quickly noticed that it appears that the Mac Mini is up sampling everything to 24-bit 96kHz. Is there a way to keep the audio bit-perfect and stream my 24/96kHz music at it sampling and then stream my 16/44.1kHz at its original sampling rate.

I was hoping to A/B some various sampling rates, but if I cannot stream a perfect bit stream of the original sampling, then it obviously will not work.

Any thoughts or work arounds that I am missing?

Thanks!
