Audio not adjustable on macbook

Hi everyone.
I have a small problem adjusting my audio level after my computer ran out of power with Ishow u running. Apparently, the program installs some kind of plugin which allows it to record system audio. While running the program, you cannot adjust the volume levels which is normal while running the program, but usually when it quits, control over the volume is restored to me.
Now i only get the attached image.
I tried deleting audio prefs
Help please!!

have you tried uninstall/reinstall or maybe to fix permissions????
