Hi, I have had this issue on my MacBook pro retina, and my new MacBook pro with touch bar when airplaying audio to my Apple TV (4k, multiple apple tv's, same issue on all.)

After airplaying to any of my Apple Tv's, usually videos, and playing the audio from the TV. When I stop airplaying, I HAVE to restart my mac to get audio to play on the internal mac speakers. I have switched between internal speakers and airplay in the audio icon in the taskbar and in the preferences.

This has happened on multiple MacBooks and multiple Apple TV's, from 4 to 4k.

I cannot figure out how to get the audio to play on my MacBook Pro without a restart.

I can't find anything on the web about it.

Anyone have any ideas???
