Audio out on external speakers

Came back from a trip and my external speakers are not working. My internal speakers are fine but even lost in the sound preferences the option for external out speakers. Any idea's. Thanks for any help
 
Never mind. I was being a idiot . LOL Had the plug in the mic. Time for cocktails:D:D:D
