Audio out/optical combo gone?

Does the audio jack still work as a combo with optical or have they removed this on the new mbpros?

looks like no. maybe there is a dongle for that.

I'm sure they probably removed it. Why not? They took away every other functionality. They even took away the extended portion of the power adaptor too.

I'm sure after the next update, Apple will remove the keyboard and trackpad so they can make it even thinner. After all, you can connect your own keyboard via a dongle.
