Audio Player w multiple Bookmarks+Notes

I am looking for a player which can allow multiple bookmarks in audio file with (1) VISUAL representation of the bookmarks on the play-track (appropriate term welcomed in comments). I've tried VLC but it does not (2) save any bookmarks (as far as I understand).
