Audio problem when exporting to full quality DV in iMovie HD

Hi,
I have this problem with the audio in iMovie HD.
The audio (Including edits) plays back perfectly in my project.
I exported the project to full quality DV.
I then imported the full quality DV file back to iMovie HD, but realised that none of my audio edits had been considered.
I tried exporting just the audio, but the result was the same. The editing just disappears.
Is there any solution ?

If you open the DV file in quicktime, does it play the edited version?
Have you tried saving it as a Quicktime Movie with the video Codec set to DV instead?

I opened the exported DV file with the quicktime player but the audio is still wrong.
But, I tried opening the original .mov file with quicktime and exported the audio file. It's fine.
So I guess the original file audio seems to work fine if exported from quicktime and not from iMovie.
