I recently upgraded my Mini and MacBook to x.5. I didn't find this problem on the MacBook (2 gig core2 duo, 3 gigs RAM, 120HD) but with the mini (which I've upgraded to a 2.33 gig core 2 duo, 2 gigs RAM, 200 gig 7200RPM HD) I found that my audio didn't work. At first I thought it might be the Eye TV software so I upgraded that to 251.

Now I have audio for about 20 minutes, then it goes to static until I reboot (same with iTunes or Eye TV). And now, I have no video with Eye TV but I have audio (until it quits).

I'm looking for ideas and suggested fixes.

Thanks for the help.

Not sure with the changes you made.

I know on the iMac that behavior happening on the internal speakers, but not on external or Fiber out - is a sign the drivers aren't right.

Some people were downloading updated drivers.

But unfortunately this might not apply in the least to your mini.

Sorry.
