Audio prompts from Apple Watch to AirPods Pro 3

I’m having an issue with my Apple Watch and audio prompts during workouts with my AirPods Pro 3s.

After most audio prompts while running I get feedback in the AirPods that sounds like the click you hear when adjusting volume. It’s fairly consistent after most prompts, but the number of clicks varies. I don’t get any feedback using my AirPods 4.

Is anyone experiencing anything similar? I’m not sure if it’s a hardware or firmware issue with my AirPods Pro.
