iPod touch Audio randomly stops working

Hi
When i play a video or music with my earphones it randomly stops outputting sound so I have to plug it out and back in again for it to start working again, it also happens without the earphones pluged in

Try a different ear phone and see if the problem is still the same. If so it could be dust in the plug.

I tried different earphones and I have tried cleaning it

I got my iPod touch to work normally..!!!!
I went to apple on fifth ave and we figured out that I had to restore my iPod to factory settings and NOT Restore from my old backup, somehow the problem got intergraded with my old backup,

Audio randomly stops working

Its app problem, change your audio app and try again.
